Tour Terms & Conditions - they are only short so do please read them.
ALL TOURS EXCEPT FROM
INVERGORDON: are exclusive and the same price for between one and seven people (except
for George who can carry six passengers). Tours are paid for in advance. Early
booking discount and/or extras is applied to them, but this will not
appear in the automatic pages, but will be shown clearly in your manual
eConfirmation. If you cancel a booking up to 30 days in advance you receive a
75% refund. Cancellations between 30 and 10 days before the tour receive a 50%
refund. There is no refund if you cancel within ten days of the tour or are not
at the organised departure or pick-up point, but we may give a discretionary
partial refund up to 50% if there are compelling circumstances or
if we were able to re-sell the day. If we have to cancel a tour you
receive a full refund of the amount paid and that is the extent of our
obligation. Food, accommodation, admissions and boat trips are not included in
the price of the tour. Ferries to and from the islands are not included. Allow
around £50 for the ferry on the A03ii tour and £120 for the three ferries on the
A08 tour. Ask us for a quotation on other island ferry costs. If anything is

should be noted that holiday insurance should cover you for any unforeseen
circumstances, like illness or delays causing you to miss your tour. Check with
your insurance provider.
If you are offering
seats under our share-a-tour plan please note that no refunds are
provided once anyone joins your tour. If you are booking individual
seats under the share-a-tour plan there is no refund if you later
cancel these seats. Seats are paid in full on booking. £30 per seat per day
is retained by Inverness Tours, for guide and admin. The balance is paid
by Inverness Tours to our principal client on
whose tour you have bought a seat. Any share-a-tour on a tour from a cruise-ship are the subject of
private negotiation between our principal client and others. We
undertake to put the parties in contact with each other and our
involvement ends there.
In the case of breakdown,
unexpected road closures or any similar events we will do everything within our
power to complete your tour or return you to your point of departure. Our
liability for costs or inconvenience if we fail to complete a tour on time is
limited to the total value of the tour purchased.
We can never guarantee that the vehicle the guide uses at the
time of the booking is not different at the time of the tour, but we are
constantly striving to improve our service so this is likely to be a positive
Our guides do not normally
mind if you wish to record or film them guiding you for a home movie or similar.
However such recordings must not be used for commercial purposes and must be
restricted to a few minutes within a vacation film.
