You are collected from your Inverness hotel, B&B, the airport or station and we head along the side of Loch Ness stopping at various view points.
After Invermoriston we take a stunning drive towards the romantic Isle of Skye. En route is some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery including the renowned Five Sisters of Kintail.
Eventually we arrive at one of Scotland's most photographed castles. Eilean Donan Castle where time is provided for a visit although you might want to skip this if you want to make the best use of your time in Skye.
We cross the arching Skye bridge to the Isle providing opportunities for a picnic lunch en route or in the picturesque town of Portree. Along the way we'll show you some great locations for photostops which you'll talk about for years. Great views of the Cuillins too.
After Portree we skirt some cliff scenery, seeing the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock. Then we can choose from the fabulous mountain road over the Quiraing with it's stunning views.
Alternatively we can travel round the very tip of Skye where Flora MacDonald is buried. Near Flora MacDonald's grave you can (depending on the time of year) visit the Museum of Island Life housed in a crofting community of blackhouses.
The scenery changes again and, if time, a trip will be made into the Fairy Glen which carries some interesting geological features from the last ice age.
Eventually we head back south, passing through Uig and Broadford, over the Skye Bridge agin, through Kyle of Lochalsh before turning north towards Loch Carron and our relaxing and beautiful trip back to Inverness over the Black Isle or through Muir of Ord and Beauly.
